Settling accounts: drive to the east, is an amazing track, with those mandolins and the Hammond organ over the didgeridoo-thrum thumping bassline! The lyrics are a bit hard to make out, was one of them "Sexually transmitted diseases in a clinic of Algiers" or something? I can never quite hear it over the sound of pelicans.
Anyway, I love this album. "Slap and Tickle" ought to be selling out at Wembley. Abster x
