Two thirds

of house sales in Cornwall are to second-home buyers.

Estate agents in the Lizard & St Ives areas haven't had any first-time buyers in over a year.

#Sigh#.

That makes me want to kill somebody. Probably whoever is in the government and thinks this is a good idea.

It's wrong on so many levels. If it was up to me, I'd tax second homes so heavily that no-one would want to own one.

The problem is that Margaret Thatcher managed to make everyone view houses as big piles of money as opposed to things to actually live in.

It makes me incredibly angry. The housing market in this country is immoral and insane.
